This statement describes what we (“Betelec SA”) do with your personal data when you use our website (“www.betelec.ch”) or when you communicate or engage with us in any other way. It is part of our duty to provide information according to the current data protection regulations in Switzerland.
If necessary, we will inform you through other documents, such as consent forms or general terms, of any processing activity not covered by this statement.
If you provide us with or share personal data about other individuals, such as family members or colleagues, we assume that you have the right to do so and that the data is accurate.

Privacy is important to us, and we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure compliant processing of personal data, in accordance with applicable laws (Federal Data Protection Act (LPD), if applicable, General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union, GDPR)

We collect various categories of data about you.

This site aims to present BETELEC SA, its teams, and its activities. If interested, you can contact us through email addresses.

Communication data: When you contact us via the contact form, by phone, by mail, or any other means of communication, we collect the data you exchange with us, such as your contact details, appointment requests, information requests, or commercial offers.

Contractual data: These are personal data necessary for the conclusion and execution of a contract, including invoicing for our services.

Technical data: When you use our web services, we collect certain technical data such as your IP address or device identifier. Technical data also includes logs in which we record the use of our systems (log data). We may also assign a unique identification number to your device (tablet, PC, smartphone, etc.), for example, using cookies and similar technologies, to recognize your device later. Generally, we cannot deduce who you are from technical data.

We retain your personal data as long as our processing purposes, legal retention periods, and our legitimate interests in documentation and preservation of evidence or technical reasons require. In the absence of contrary legal or contractual obligations, we delete or anonymize your personal data when they are no longer necessary for the purposes of processing.

As explained in section 6, we share data with third parties. These are not only located in Switzerland. Therefore, your data may be processed both in Europe and, in exceptional cases, worldwide.

• Right to request correction of your personal data if it is inaccurate.
• Right to request deletion of data.
• Right to request that we provide certain personal data in a commonly used electronic format or transfer it to another data controller.
• Right to withdraw your consent when the processing of your personal data is based on your consent.
• Right to receive additional information necessary to exercise these rights.
